Jednym z drogich przyjaciół naszej Polskiej Szkoły jest Pan Michalski, który przygotowuje na Boże Narodzenie piękne prezenty naszym uczniom w postaci drewnianych, ręcznie robionych zabawek.

William Michalski grew up in the immigrant communities of Passaic and Wallington, New Jersey during the Great Depression and World War II, in a boyhood paradise of rivers and ponds, wood and dumps.

Retired from teaching high school earth science Bill shares memories of growing up in Polish New Jersey during the ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s.

Many of the stories relate to a child growing up without a father during the Great Depression and about growth and personal transformation to becoming a man.
